Katlong Bamaiyi is who originally from Jos, Plateau state met Peace Ohiro who is from Asaba, Delta State, they met in Ghana last year when Katlong was there for a brief visit and none knew that eventful encounter was going to lead to this marital union. Ajayi Tosin and Kesiena Tito are presently in contention over ownership of a five-month-old baby, Emmanuel Omkhode Ajayi, delivered by an 18-year-old girl in Warri, Delta State.   According to Dailypost, the matter deepened after Ajayi was allegedly arrested over the weekend, following a petition of “Threat to Life” instituted by Kesiena to the Nigeria Police Area Command.   Tosin Ajayi, a 23-year-old barber, claimed to have cohabited with Blessing Iroroteh since 2015 before she delivered a bouncing boy this year, 2017, in his house. Rescuers were continuing their search and pausing to listen for voices from the rubble. Later, Pena Nieto issued a video message urging calm and saying the initial focus of authorities is on finding people trapped in fallen buildings.

Nigerian President,  Mohammed Buhari has told the assembly of 150 world leaders at the United Nations gathering held in New York that the recovery of looted wealth from his country is only possible through their cooperation. Buahri said this during his speech at the 72nd Uited Nations General meeting in New York on Tuesday. A fatal accident of bus conveying 27 Rivers State athletes rammed into a stationary truck along Emohua last night as they were returning from the just concluded sports festival in Ilorin, Kwara state. One of the injured victim, Bright Emmanuel, a cyclist who won one of the two gold medals the state hauled at the event , stated that it was case of over speeding as the bus rammed into a stationary truck parked along the road. Being that they were in a convoy, a second bus also rammed into the first one that rammed into the trailer. Several athletes got injured including Sgt Momoh Rahim, team Rivers security personnel, whose left leg could be amputated.

According to report, about 15 people died from the suicide bomb attack that happened this morning in Konduga community area of Borno state. The victims were queuing up to get aid when the bombers struck. “There were twin suicide explosions at 11:10 am (1010 GMT) in Mashalari village (near Konduga), which killed 15 and left 43 others injured,” a rescue worker said The body of the victims has been taken to the morgue while the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Aisha Isah, a 20 year old housewife from Kokona Local Government area of Nasarawa state has been arrested and now in police custody for throwing two of her step daughters into a well after a brief disagreement with the mother of the girls. The Public Relation Officer of the Nasarawa state command, DSP Kennedy Idirisu said the step daughters, Zainab, 4, and Baaba, 2 were said to have been allegedly thrown into the well following a disagreement with the children’s mother. On the 4th of September between the hour of 9 am and 1 pm, a 14 year old schoolgirl was raped in broad daylight in a park. The schoolgirl was assaulted by a man in a secluded area in Avery Hill in South East London and till now no arrests have been made.
