Our sincere condolences goes out  to Nollywood actress turned Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi who lost her only son, Raymond, on Monday to sickle cell anaemia. The 15 year old boy gave up the ghost on Monday morning after long years of battling with the illness, the boy was a product of her marriage with ex husband, Charles Ekwu.

The largest community online is the Facebook community and a lot of its users are taking advantage of this prospect to dupe people on this platform. The Imo police command has arrested three  Facebook fraudsters who have fake Facebook account alleged to be used to impersonate the Chief of Staff to Imo state Government, Chief Uche Nwosu. The Police Public Relation Office, DSP Andrew Enwerem, said that the suspects Nwaeguzor Hope Miracle, Nwokoma Ezekachi and Reuben Ogwuonye Ubongwung, created the alleged fake facebook account using the name of Chief Uche Nwosu and uploaded pictures of his states’ functions for the aim of defrauding unsuspecting individuals of huge sums of money.   He gave the details of the account used by the fraudsters in duping their victims as: Account Name: Stella Monday, 0242239274, GT Bank and their phone number as: 08175433203 registered with the name Dr Lawson Briggs.   According Enwerem, the suspects posted transactions relating to allocation

The Mr Dowell's Friendship party that started its journey here in Lagos about three weeks ago, has been going around the states in Nigeria to bring smiles, party and a whooping 1 million naira to a lucky winner. Last Sunday was the third edition which was the Abuja edition. It was held at City park hall in Wuse Zone 2 in Abuja and a lot of Abuja's party animals turned up. But the excitement of the night came when one Mr Ismaila Gideon luckily won 1 million naira just as the organiser of the event, Guiness Nigeria Plc, promised. One of the exciting moments in this present administration was when the announcement of #nottooyoungtorun bill was approved in the National Assembly. Many Nigerians especially the youth see this as a welcome development to the growth of democracy in the country.
