ENTERTAINMENT: LUPITA NYONG'O SETS TO PUBLISH HER FIRST BOOK IN 2019

Oscar Award winning actor, Lupita Nyong'o has caught the literary bug as she is  set to publish her first book in 2019, a children book titled, Sulwe. The Africa-American actress, Miss Nyong'o took to her Instagram page to announce to her fans what she intend to do come 2019. She gave us a sneak-peak into the main character of her forthcoming book, Sulme, about a young girl with womb full of dream and how this starry eyed little girl went on an adventure to fulfil her dreams. Read what she wrote below: "I am pleased to reveal that I have written a children book! It's called " Sulwe"! Sulwe is a dark skinned girl who goes on a starry eyed adventure, and awaken with a reimsgined sense of beauty. She encounters lessons that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning. This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in their own skin. Coming January 2019!"

NEWS: STUDENTS SITS ON BARE FLOOR TO TAKE LESSONS IN A COMMUNITY THAT HOSTS SIX OIL WELLS IN DELTA STATE

The sight that will welcome you in Otoro primary school in Orhoakpor community in Delta state is one of shock and disbelieve as the elementary school has no single chair despite being a host to 6 major oil wells in that area of the state. Delta state is one of Nigerian states that has abundant of oil wells and the revenue to the state is in billions of naira, to think that a community in one of  its provinces could not furnish or afford chairs for a primary school in that community is unexplainable and disbelieving as pupils are seen sitting and taking lessons on the bare floor.
