ENTERTAINMENT: RONNIE WOOD, ROLLING STONES GUITARIST HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH LUNG CANCER
The legendary Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood, has revealed that he's been diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year.
Ronnie, who is 70 year old, in an interview said ‘there was a week when everything hung in the balance and it could have been curtains, time to say goodby. You never know what is going to happen’.
He recently gave up on smoking about a year ago when his twin daughters were born, he went to the doctor in May for medical checkup where the doctor told Wood that he found cancer in his lung. After a week of several tests, it was confirmed that the disease has not spread “I made up my mind that if it had spread I wasn’t going to go through chemo, I wasn’t going to use that bayonet in my body’.
