A top Kenya's electoral commission (IEBC), Roselyn Akombe has resigned from her government position and ran to the US amid death threats ahead of the next week's presidential election re-run. This comes a week after the opposition leader, Raila Odigna pulled out of the presidential election re-run after the supreme court annulled the result of the original 8 August polls, when current President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner after finding irregularities and illegalities. Speaking to BBC interview newsday from New York, Ms Akombe recalled the murder of the election commission's IT head, Chris Msando before the August poll. "You will  be suicidal to think nothing will happen to you, i  have never felt the kind of fear that i felt in my own country" Ms Akombe told BBC. The proverbial saying of the  'everyday for thief one day for the owner' was exactly what happened to this couple, who sell stolen children. The husband and wife living in Ogun state were apprehended at Mosafote, Unity road in Ibafo area of Ogun state. Their neighbors started suspecting the couple for few months now when the wife, Morenike would strangely bring  a child home in the evening and take the child away the following day. Eye witnesses has confirmed that she had done this on four different occasion before she was finally caught with a four year old girl, the girl was later found to have been abducted in Ibadan, Oyo state. Residents identified the landlady of the couple as Habibat Oresanya, sister of Shittu, Morenike's husband and accomplice.
