NEWS: TEACHER IN CAMEROUN STRIPPED STUDENTS NAKED FOR PUNISHMENT

 In the western region part of Cameroun, in Baham, teacher stripped naked boys and girls of senior secondary school students for allegedly coming to school late. A facebook user identified as Song Mudoh shared this on his social media platform with the caption; "Only in Africa will you see this type of nonsense. Student stripped naked and flogged as part of school punishment. I really don’t care what they did but this is totally unacceptable. NEWS: LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY RECENT TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK

Recently the residents of Lekki and Ajah environs have had many reasons to lament about the traffic situation in the lekki-epe expressway, hindering most commercial activities in the zone. Most  of the complainers are those who have to commute from Ajah to Lekki and Victoria Island to their various workplace, cause of the recent traffic gridlock, it takes 3 to 4 hours for them to get to this destination instead of usual 30mins to 45mins that they are used to. The traders who have to transport goods from Ajah to CMS are also crying for the many hours wasted on the expressway before getting to their commercial activities. The commercial transporters known as danfo drivers have taken advantage of this situation to hike transportation fares and this is another unaccepted development that is causing another uproar and BRT buses that was usually alternative for lesser fares have not been in operative for a while now. NEWS: THE FATHER OF 3, DEJUAN GUILLORY, 27, WAS SHOT BY A SHERIFF'S DEPUTY

Contradictory reports have emerged regarding a police shooting that occurred in the early morning on July 6 in the small town of Mamou, Louisiana, an accidnt that left father-of-three Dejuan Guillory, 27, dead and his girlfriend behind bars for attempted murder.Sheriff's deputy Paul Lafleur was responding to a report of an attempted burglary sometime after 4 a.m. when he encountered Guillory and his girlfriend, 21 year old Deguince Brown. The Root reported that the couple were on a date and riding an all-terrain vehicle when they approached a car that was out "in the middle of nowhere" and realized that the person inside was a police officer. It is unclear whether Lafleur was in a marked police car, and whether the couple approached the car first, or if Lafleur was there waiting for the alleged burglar. Read More.

NEWS: UNDERGRADUATE OF THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY MURDERED BY CULTISTS IN YENAGOA

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna undergraduate with the name Saviour Enoch was murdered on Saturday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state by the suspected members of a cult. On Monday, his family members and friends urged the relevant authorities in the state to find his killers and bring them to justice. The 20 year old was shot dead about 8pm on the Gwede/Naval road in Ovom, Yenagoa Local Government Area, said the uncle. Read more.
