NEWS: THE FORMER GOVERNOR OF TARABA STATE WHO SURVIVED AIR CRASH HAS DIED

Danbaba Suntai, former governor of Taraba state who was involved in air crash at the Yola airport in Adamawa state in 2012 and survived is now dead. He died at home where he was receiving rehabilitation for the brain injuries he got from the accident. Emmanuel Bello, a former commissioner in the state confirmed the news of his demise and promised to share further details in the coming hours. Read more>>

NEWS: THE ENROLLMENT OF NYSC MEMBERS INTO NHIS HAS BEEN APPROVED BY FG

Good news for the National Youth Service Corps scheme as the Federal Government Of Nigeria has approved the enrollment of NYSC members into the National Health Insurance Scheme to guarantee them access to quality healthcare services. Professor Isaac Adewole, the minister of health stated this when he briefed the state house correspondent on the outcome of the meeting which was presided by the vice president Yemi Osibanjo in the presidential villa Abuja. The minister of health was  optimistic that the decision to include the corp members into the health scheme will not only check the reported death  among NYSC members but will also ensure they receive the best medical care services across the country. NEWS: THE NORTH CAROLINA TEEN THAT WENT MISSING A YEAR AGO RETURNED HOME A DIFFERENT PERSON

Hailey Burns, a teen from North Carolina USA, went missing for almost a year before she was found in a Georgia home on Sunday. She is back safely with her family now but her mom said, "she is not the same girl that left and that's the hardest thing, there are changes in my daughter" said Shaunna Burns, the teen's mother. Hailey was officially reported missing on 23 May 2016, after she left home without informing anyone where she was going to, she  was 16 years old then. The family said that she ran away with a man she met online after she went missing, "he gradually wormed his way into her good graces, he coerced her into listening to him and not following our directions and the next thing i knew my daughter wasn't communicating with me"  the father told WBTV On the 24 of June, Hailey's parents were informed that their daughter was in Duluth, Georgia.
