NEWS: LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY RECENT TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK
Recently the residents of Lekki and Ajah environs have had many reasons to lament about the traffic situation in the lekki-epe expressway, hindering most commercial activities in the zone.
Most of the complainers are those who have to commute from Ajah to Lekki and Victoria Island to their various workplace, cause of the recent traffic gridlock, it takes 3 to 4 hours for them to get to this destination instead of usual 30mins to 45mins that they are used to. The traders who have to transport goods from Ajah to CMS are also crying for the many hours wasted on the expressway before getting to their commercial activities.
The commercial transporters known as danfo drivers have taken advantage of this situation to hike transportation fares and this is another unaccepted development that is causing another uproar and BRT buses that was usually alternative for lesser fares have not been in operative for a while now.
