NEWS: BOKO HARAM HAS RETURNED TO SAMBISA FOREST


The number one terrorist group out of Nigeria are back in their famous hideout in the Sambisa forest. Punch News reports that a large group of the Boko Haram terrorists sect seem to be back in their old hiding place in the heart of the sambisa forest of Borno state with the troops of the Nigeria army killing seven of them in their recent encounter, while some of the terrorists escaped with gunshot injuries.

The gallant troops also recovered 11 gun trucks, 12 Hilux vehicles, 2 double-barrelled rifles and 30 bicycles abandoned by the fleeing terrorists.

The Nigeria military also said a workplace used by the insurgents for making of improvised Explosive Device was sighted and destroyed.

Another report from the military recorded that the joint operation with the air force on Friday in the Sambisa forest also left two soldiers injured after the gun exchange between the army and the terrorists.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman, said residents of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States should be on the lookout for the fleeing Boko Haram group.
Usman noted that any suspected terrorist seen with gun injuries should be reported at the nearest military location or police station.
