ART: NONA FAUSTINE POSES NUDE IN NEW YORK TO RECALL HISTORY OF SLAVERY

An Africa American artist, Nona Faustine posed completely nude in some landmark places of New York linked to the history of slavery in the United States.

The photographer's self portrait series titled the "white shoes" showcased photographs where her nudity is publicly exposed with nothing on but her wearing white shoes. The history of slavery in New York City is the theme of the artist’s photographic series. Nona Faustine has only posed in places related to this story.
