NEWS: GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA GIVES STATE WORKERS 18 DAYS XMAS HOLIDAY

Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha gives state workers 18 days Christmas holiday.

Governor Okorocha of Imo state has ordered the civil servants to vacate offices for the Christmas holiday on Friday 22/12/2017 and resume office on Monday January 8 2018.

According to a press release by the chief press secretary to the state Governor, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo, workers on essential duties are exempted from this development.

The release also stated that government gives workers in the state workforce reasonable time to spend and celebrate with loved ones every Christmas season.

He said "Government has paid salary to workers in the sate up to December to enable them also enjoy the Christmas. This is to wish them a blissful yuletide."
