Strangest things are always happening around Christmas holidays and this one might not be the first time it is happening in Nigeria but we still marvel at its occurrence. A Facebook user identified as Anselm Ojietu shared the story of one Chuks Samson from Anambra state who ran mad immediately arriving Nigeria for the Xmas celebration. Read what he wrote below; " He remembered his name as Chuks Samson from Ogidi Town in Anambra State Nigeria. He came to Nigeria on the 5th of Dec.  2017 aboard Emirates Airline from London. His mental health might have  deteriorated less than 24 hours after encountering  the harsh economic reality, people face  everyday. The STRESS  and general WAHALA of Lagos life must have overwhelmed him. Pls SHARE until he gets  a helper."

suicide bomber blew himself up Thursday in a crowded market in Borno State, killing six people, security sources said, blaming the attack on the Boko Haram jihadist group. The bomber, who passed himself off as a grain merchant, staged the attack in Amarwa village, about 20 kilometres from Maiduguri, the birthplace of Boko Haram and the capital of Borno. The attack came days after a failed Boko Haram attack on Christmas Day in Maiduguri. “Six people died on the spot from the explosion while 13 others were seriously injured,” Babagana Kolo, a leader of a militia force helping the army in the fight against Boko Haram told AFP. “The injured have been brought to the general hospital here in Maiduguri while the dead have been buried in the village,” he said. Another militia Ibrahim Liman said the bomber went to a provisions shop holding a black plastic bag around 11:30 am (1030 GMT) and asked the shopkeeper if he would buy grains but the shopkeeper said he was not interested. ...

A Facebook user identified as Goodwill Leeleebari Gabriel took to his Facebook timeline yesterday to thank God for saving his life as a truck failed brake and rammed into his shop and destroyed everything in its paths. The horrific incident happened yesterday and he took to his Facebook to share the good news. Read what he wrote below; " Friends and families, well wishers world wide. See what God did for me today. 27/12/2017 Record braking miracle of the year. A truck failed break and ran straight into my shop, crushed everything except me . The biggest carnival in Africa is the calabar carnival held in Cross River state annually. Every year's comes with its side attraction and marvel but this year's calabar carnival 2017 side attraction was when the state governor, Professor Ayade and his wife made a grand entering in what looks like a red giant scorpion inspired power bike. A man from Edo state simply identified as Shina Rambo has been nabbed in Ugo, Edo State, while having a sexual intercourse with a female goat. According to reports, Rambo, from Ukwuani, Abafo, was having sex with the goat in his room and the cry of the goat attracted neighbours and passersby, who forced his door open and caught him in the act. The representatives of the leader of the community who arrived at the scene later disclosed that Rambo is a serial rapist. One of them said: “ He did not start this today. He has done it in Ogba and Ibieguai before he was chased out of these communities. He stole there too, we have told his father and mother to leave the community immediately. We have left him before now because his father is a good man, he has to make some sacrifice to appease the land, and after that, he will leave this community with his mother.”

Rihanna’s cousin has been shot dead few hours after they spent Christmas Day together in Barbados. Rihanna' cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne was walking in the St Michael’s area around 7pm on Boxing Day (26 December) when he was shot by an unidentified man several times, according to Nation News. He was 21. Alleyne later succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to hospital in a private vehicle. Rihanna took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to her cousin. She wrote; 'RIP cousin....can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth of your body!!! Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha gives state workers 18 days Christmas holiday. Governor Okorocha of Imo state has ordered the civil servants to vacate offices for the Christmas holiday on Friday 22/12/2017 and resume office on Monday January 8 2018. According to a press release by the chief press secretary to the state Governor, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo, workers on essential duties are exempted from this development. The release also stated that government gives workers in the state workforce reasonable time to spend and celebrate with loved ones every Christmas season. He said "Government has paid salary to workers in the sate up to December to enable them also enjoy the Christmas. This is to wish them a blissful yuletide."

A lady on twitter with the handle @ClassicChanel5 has come for Muslim women  who constantly belittle husband's in bed, she called those women 'ungrateful' You see, we live in an era of sexual exploits and adventure, where a man sexual performance is the measurement of his masculinity. But this lady disagrees and in the tweets above she explained herself elaborately with simple few words.
