I came across this on the twitter page of the music group, Chainsmokers, with caption "Read this and have a good weekend"  and i was just inspired i had to post this.

Remember O J Simpson's trial of 1995, where he was accused and later acquitted of the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman, in what was dubbed as "Trial of the century"? Well, in 2007 O J Simpson was arrested again for a robbery and was jailed for 9 years. The 70 years old former NFL player on Thursday was granted parole after serving nine years jail term for botched robbery and he is set to be free as early as October. He told the parole board his wish to spend as much time with his children and friends after his release. Two of his friends Tom Scotto and Henry Johnson talked to Good Morning America on Friday about his life after jail and all the places he will likely visit after his release. OJ has also made plans to visit the graves of loved ones he lost while in jail and also to visit Nicole's grave. Read more.

The Ghanian actor and farmer, John Dumelo, has given a his wisdom on why men should not marry women who are richer than them. The tall dark skinned actor revealed this on GTV programmed topic "What men like" and the center of the conversation was whether men would love to date women who are financially more successful than them. The actor went ahead to described the kind of woman he will prefer to date. The unfortunate death of the Linkin Park frontman, Chester Bennington has left everyone in the entertainment industry agape. Chester said in his final interview two months before his apparent suicide that he would "fight" his depression rather than "give up" but that was two months ago and now he is gone. The singer who reported to have hanged himself in his Los Angeles home on Thursday told music reporter, Will Lavine, why he wanted to put the tough times of his life behind and move on. "I came to a point in my life where I was like, 'I can either just give up and f---ing die or I can f---ing fight for what I want.' And I chose to fight for what I wanted," Bennington said in the interview obtained by The Mirror. "I wanted to have good relationships. I wanted to love the people in my life. Police are currently investigating a case of a 6 year old kindergarten pupil who was crushed to death this morning in Mombasa Kenya after falling through a hole of the school bus. According to the report of the coast traffic boss, Emmanuel Okanda, the child fell to the ground from the moving bus and was rolled over. La la Anthony opened up about her steamy sex scene in Power, The 38 years old actress revealed this on Wednesday when she appeared on Power 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club. She opened up about filming the role and how she initially told her estranged husband, Carmelo Anthony about it. La la separated from the NBA star in April. "Well, let's start with the sex scene. That was done eight months ago," she explains. "So, when it was going on, you sit down, have a discussion with the person you're with and say, 'Hey, this is what's coming up in the script.   Nigeria blogger, Linda Ikeji's younger sister, Laura Ikeji Kanu has just given birth to a bouncing baby boy, Ryan, in the US with husband Ogbonna Kanu. This is the poor state of the legendary Marian Market in Calabar and how the present government has neglected its maintenance. The Calabar people are obviously nostalgic as they described what used to be a clean and functionable environment under the passed government of Donald Duke is now a dump site, neglected by the present administration. "Traders are crying, the customers are complaining,  the environment is dirty and the potholes are deadly" these are some of the cries of the people of Calabar. According to some report, that the revenue collectors are reluctant to approach the traders for their taxes as this often result in the irate traders beating up the tax collectors. The senate on Wednesday passed into law,  the whistle blower protection bill, which recommends a five years jail term or 10 million naira fine against anyone who raised a false alarm on hidden loot. The upper house of the National Assembly also approved that fiver percent of any recovered loot as a reuslt of information from the whistle blower be given to the informant,  as currently being practised by the Federal Government. It was a weekend of elaborate wedding bells for Steve Wonder and his beautiful girlfriend, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy as they tie the knot. The 67 years old musician and Tomeeka Roby, 42, started dating in 2012 and they  have two children together, family is very important to Steve and all his children were there. The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has disclosed on Wednesday that while he was in prison, the Nigeria Federal Government offered him Biafra with only 5 Igbo States as the components part of Biafra but he rejected their offer, tabling before them that, he wants Rivers and Benue state inclusive. Nnamdi Kanu said that, the reason he rejected the offer was because that didn't constitute the Republic of Biafra, insisting on his stand that he want Rivers and Benue states in the offer. According to Vanguardng report, the IPOB leader also claimed that, they offered him an oil block and a mansion in Dubai aimed in convincing him to abandon the cause but he turned them down and insisted on the actualization of Biafra. Nnamdi said, those things were the Greek gifts to buy him over but he maintained that he has no price other than to actualize the restoration of Biafra and liberate the Igbos. The Army on Wednesday released a statement  that it had interrogated 37 people suspected to be wives and children of the Boko Haram sect after they escaped their hiding place. The statement issued by Sani Usman, the Army spokeperson said that 30 of escapees were intercepted on Tuesday at Gujba LGA of Yobe. Mr. Usman said that they comprised of eight women and 22 children. The Army spokeperson said "On preliminary interrogation, suspects claimed to have escaped from Boko haram terrorist's group custody at Kafa and Abagajiri villages in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno,’’ The Army spokeperson also said that, the remaining seven that included women and children were captured on Tuesday Kamuya in Yobe. .

New reports are surfacing with Joycelyn Savage claiming her father was the one who introduced her to R Kelly and he is also very much  aware of her living with the RnB singer. Sources close to Joycelyn told TMZ that Joycely's Father, Timothy, was on board with the daughter going to live with the singer almost two years ago when they first met in a concert. It was gathered that the father who came up the plan with R Kelly and others for Joycelyn savage, 21 to go and live with Kelly to develop her singing under Kelly's tutelage.
