The attack in Barcelona that happened earlier today has left at least 13 people dead and about 50 injured after a van plowed through the city, and officiasl has confirmed it to be terrorist attack. A source at the scene has this to say: - "The horrifying incident went down Thursday afternoon near the popular tourist area of Las Ramblas. Police are calling it a "massive trampling" after the van mounted the sidewalk. Video taken at the scene shows bodies littered across the pavement. There's also at least one armed man reportedly holed up in a nearby restaurant." The alleged suspect who drove a van into the crowd in Barcelona, killing 13 people, was recently ranting over the Israeli occupation of Palestine. A Bronx kid by the name Luis Moux is been charged with manslaughter for choking his mother's ex boyfriend to death after walking in on her attack. According to the reports of NY post, the investigation by the police confirmed that Luis' mom Lorena Sesma and her ex boyfriend, Stanley Washington were arguing in the hallway of their building before Stanley followed Lorena into the apartment and began beating her violently. Luis, who was in his room then heard the cry of his mother and quickly rushed out to help her, wrapped his arms around Stanley's neck and began choking till he gave out. Though Luis had no prior record of arrests, but details are still unclear if his intention was on impulse after he couldn't stop Stanley from hitting his mother. Police has also confirmed that Stanley had 26 previous arrests and 2 were of domestic violence.

A 77 years old man, Pastor Samuel Babatunde, has been arrested alongside 3 other suspects in connection with human parts discovered in his church. The pastor was apprehended with one suspected serial kidnapper, Jeremiah Adeola (32) and a 43-year old herbalist, Haruna Afolabi. The suspected Pastor is said to be the founder of the Cherubim and Seraphim church, Itedo Isinmi, Ayo Parish, Egan Road, in Iyesi Area of Sango-Ota. The Ogun state commissioner of police, Mr Ahmed Illiyasu, said the discovery followed the arrest of one Adeola, last Sunday. A female suicide bomber attacked a market place in Konduga in Borno state killing at least 27 people and 80 people in serious casualty early this evening. The said female bomber disguised herself as a buyer, found her way into the midst of the crowd at the market place and detonated the strapped bomb on her. The security authorities have taken control of the perimeter while efforts are being made to transport the injured victims to the hospital as well as the dead bodies. Watch this space for updates.

One of the two corp members who went into coma after being trapped in the collapsed building in Imo state, for eight hours has died. Chinedu Isiogugu, who is originally from Anambra state, died of cardiac arrest on Monday around 3AM after successful surgery was performed on his damaged two legs. He was 26 years old and his dead brings the casualty figure from the accident to five, after two babies and two adults were reportedly dead on Sunday.
